About

Our History

Over 20 Years of History

K&H Construction, Inc. got our start in 2001 constructing a new wireless communication system for the Michigan State Police. We still do tower construction work, but we’ve expanded our portfolio substantially to include horizontal directional drilling, concrete work, site development, steel erection, and more

About

Our Leadership

We will ALWAYS believe our people are our biggest asset. Our leaders each boast more than 40 years’ experience, and our entire team focuses on getting the job done right, safely, and efficiently – every time.

Meet

Mike Kinder

Mike has been working in construction since 1980. He started as a highschooler working for his dad, and his fascination with construction has only grown since then. Mike graduated from Purdue with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1986 and worked for two larger companies before founding K&H Construction, Inc. with his business partner in 2001. Mike enjoys problem solving and working with the customers – even the tough ones (he believes they have a way of helping us learn the most!)

Meet

Kendall Ringger

Kendall has been working in construction for more than 40 years. He started as a laborer and has held positions of increasing responsibility at various companies. Since joining K&H Construction, Inc. in 2004, he’s acted as General Superintendent. Kendall is meticulous, detailed, and a wealth of knowledge – if there’s a way to get something done, Kendall will find it!

Meet

Ryan Longardner

Ryan has been with K&H since 2012. Any employee you ask will say that Ryan is the hardest and most dedicated worker on the crew. He’s approachable, answers questions whenever they arise, and is the first one to jump in and help when there’s a need.

Meet

Bryton Killian

Bryton joined K&H Construction in 2020. Among all the fieldwork that Bryton does, we also like to call him our tech expert – he flies our drone, creates the time lapses, and captures the most incredible pictures at jobsites to help tell the story of what we do…and how we do it!

Meet

Emily Brough

Emily joined K&H Construction in 2015. She grew up in a construction family, but with a background in corporate retail, she never thought she’d make a career of it. Mike asked Emily to help him with some marketing in 2015 and she has been around ever since handling any K&H needs – large or small.
