The challenge: Just after we delivered materials to start the job, the customer informed us that a SHPO analysis had not been done, thus delaying us > 90 days. We began as soon as we could post-analysis and discovered bad soil as soon as we started to excavate.
K&H’s role: K&H completed the entire tower site – tower, foundation, site work, grounding, ice bridge, fence, grade seed straw – pausing briefly to redirect and manage the soil issue.
The result: K&H completed the project on time, even with all the challenges from the revised schedule.

The Project: Selma, Alabama Communication Shelter in Flood Plain Area
The challenge: K&H Construction was tasked with constructing and setting a communication shelter that couldn’t be damaged in case of floods, since Selma, AL is a prime location for flooding during inclement tropical weather.
K&H’s role: K&H constructed and set a shelter on stilts to ensure it would meet inclement weather conditions.
